Barn Galleries has been invited to arrange a cultural exchange
of British and Indian artists. Partly supported by RABs & by
the British Council, this exciting project titled Another Landscape
begins in February when we shall take Sheilagh Jevons, David Morgan,
James Naughton, Tim Slatter & Lucy Ryan to show work in Calcutta
then in Delhi.
Next May, five Indian artists will show with us at ARTSPACE. Our
hope is that through Another Landscape art will build bridges
between our various cultures. We plan a programme of India related
activities - music, dance etc. - while our Indian guests are with
us in May. Any ideas (info@barngalleries.com)?
They will also go into local schools for half days to work with
children & open young eyes to Another Landscape in every
sense of the word.
